Curriculum vitae

Born 1957. Cand. mag. in History and Medieval Latin from the University of Copenhagen 1987. Ph.D. on a dissertation on Medieval Christian writings on Islam 1992. 1993-1995 editor in history at The Danish National Encyclopedia. Since 1998 associate professor in medieval history, University of Southern Denmark. 2001-2002 research fellow at the Danish Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities.
